Department SDSU-Facilities & Services-Customer Service Ctr Physical Location of Position (City) Brookings Posting Text South Dakota State University (SDSU) is searching for a Storekeeper who will be responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing U.S. and campus mail, as well as delivering mail, packages, and warehouse materials across campus. Manages all shipping and receiving activities for items entering and leaving the central warehouse. Supports mail-related accounts payable functions and assists with the operations of multiple in‑house shop inventories. Provides courteous and efficient customer service to faculty, staff, students, and campus visitors. This position is located in Brookings, SD. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this positionJob Responsibilities:
Ensure all Facilities & Services mailing and shipping operations are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Maintain full compliance with federal USPS regulations, including permit management and proper handling of all outgoing mailings. Oversee and manage the flow of USPS and campus mail to ensure daily deadlines are consistently met. Protect SDSU's mailing permits and reduced‑postage eligibility by adhering to all postal requirements and preventing violations that could result in fines or loss of the 57007 ZIP code. Process and handle suspicious mail, confidential HR documents, and sensitive Residential Life materials with discretion and security. Assist students, parents, and campus departments in locating and resolving issues with missing or delayed packages. Support mail‑related accounts payable functions and billing processes.Benefits:
