Supervisor
GENERAL SUMMARY
The position of supervisor is responsibilities for the daily work assignments, motivation, consultations, and discipline of all personnel assigned to his/her area of responsibility. It is the supervisor's responsibility to provide support to his department through the insistence of proper operating procedures in obtaining the goals of the company. Responsible for instilling a culture of safety and continuous improvement in areas of responsibility. The incumbent is responsible for managerial tasks that include performance evaluations, training and employee development.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates the work assignments for all employees in areas of responsibility.
- Manages the safety and Continuous Improvement efforts within assigned area.
- Moves and manages labor to facilitate the dynamic work- flows within assigned areas.
- Review daily and weekly efficiency reports and review to ensure efficiency.
- Works with other departments to ensure timely deliverables..
- Responsible for managerial tasks that include performance evaluations, training and policy enforcement, associate motivation and overall staff development.
- Trains and monitors employees in all aspects of job duties.
- Communicate and support new processes and lean initiatives to associates.
- Will frequently work in other areas of responsibility based on workload.
- Responsible for achieving departmental production/ delivery goals.
