The Local Market is looking for an experienced, people-driven and operations-focused District Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong retail leader who enjoys developing teams, improving store performance, and creating a consistently positive experience for both customers and employees. As District Manager, you will provide leadership and operational support to an assigned group of stores, working closely with Store Managers to help each location succeed. You will celebrate wins, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure every store delivers excellent customer service while meeting company standards and operational goals. What You'll Be Doing Provide leadership, guidance, and operational support to Store Managers and their teams. Monitor store performance and ensure all assigned locations contribute positively to established company goals and objectives. Review individual store results, identify areas of concern, and implement appropriate strategies to improve performance. Recognize and celebrate operational successes while identifying opportunities for continued growth throughout the district. Ensure each location maintains company standards for merchandise presentation and follows current floor sets. Partner with Store Managers to address store cleanliness, maintenance needs, staffing, employee hiring, and other operational matters. Support and train Store Managers and their teams to achieve company goals related to customer service, sales, expense management, inventory control, and profitability. Ensure assigned stores consistently follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Encourage creative approaches and strategies that strengthen the company's presence and support continued success in the marketplace. Serve as a positive and professional role model for Store Managers and employees throughout the district. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in management or a related field preferred. Two to five years of experience in multi-unit convenience store management. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned district. At least two years of retail management and food service experience. A thorough understanding of retail operations, food services, practices, and procedures. The ability to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Strong time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in basic technology skills. A hands-on and collaborative leadership style with a commitment to customer service and team success. The ability to successfully complete a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check as a condition of employment. Ability to sit and operate a motor vehicle for up to several hours at a time while traveling between store locations.
