Assembly Department Manager Posted on August 20, 2025 August 20, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced Assembly Department Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure production goals are met, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly environments, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the department. Position Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee assembly department operations to ensure schedules, safety, and quality standards are met Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Team Leadership Lead, motivate, and develop assembly teams to achieve performance goals Provide training, coaching, and support to staff members Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Quality & Efficiency Maintain strict quality control measures throughout production Track key performance metrics to drive productivity and efficiency Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and optimize output Prerequisites Proven experience managing assembly or production operations Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Lean Six Sigma Project Management Certification Safety and Compliance Certifications What the Role Offers Competitive base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 Opportunity to lead a high-performing assembly team Professional growth and leadership development opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment Why La Vergne?
