Job DescriptionJOB DETAILSManage the scheduling activities of the shop floor, and shipping under the direction of the Supervisor following established procedures and approved processes. Able to identify personnel shortages from day to dayAssist supervisor with production scheduling operations in your department so they are producing on schedule to be loaded and shipped on timePlan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders meet inventory requirements and deliver quality manufactured products in a timely fashionCommunicate line problems, parts shortages, engineering problems, etc. to managementMaintain daily communication with team members and management to plan for the day/week/monthContinuously seek new and innovative ways to solve problems while maintaining focus on continuous improvementSupport team leaders/members in order to implement quality and productivity improvements through continuous improvement projectsAssist with Human Resources related functions, including employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and enforcement of Cornerstone's policies and proceduresEmphasis on developing labor cost reduction system as well as maximizing efficiencyBalance safety, quality, productivity, and employee morale to achieve positive results in all areasQualificationsHigh school GED or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 yrs. recent experience in manufacturingThorough knowledge of the team processesGains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of disciplineProduction planning background preferredMust adhere to all company safety policiesExposure to 5S & Rapid Improvement programs preferredQuality drivenExcel/Word experience is preferredWorks under moderate supervisionReports to a manager or supervisorGains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of disciplineWorks under moderate supervisionAdditional InformationCall or Text 731-798-2396 in order to speak with a Recruiter today!
