In addition to our storefront operations, we cater private events, university activations, festivals, and corporate pop-ups throughout Nashville. We are looking for a highly organized, reliable, and proactive Operations Assistant to work directly under our General Manager and help support both the daily shop operations and behind-the-scenes business organization of Eat Bubbles. This is a hybrid operational leadership role — not a traditional office position. The ideal candidate must be comfortable balancing customer-facing service, drink preparation, team support, operational organization, and administrative responsibilities within a fast-paced small business environment.
Position Overview This role combines:
Lead Bobarista responsibilities Operational support Inventory organization Team support & accountability Administrative coordination Training and systems organization Depending on staffing levels and business needs, this person may: Work shifts independently as the sole bobarista Lead shifts alongside the team Support the General Manager with operational projects and organization Help improve systems and workflow efficiency throughout the business This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both hospitality and operations management. Ideal Candidate We are specifically looking for someone who: Is highly organized and detail-oriented Thrives in fast-paced customer service environments Can multitask calmly and efficiently Is dependable and proactive Communicates professionally with both customers and team members Can take initiative without constant supervision Enjoys creating structure and improving organization Is comfortable balancing hands-on shop work with operational responsibilities This role is NOT ideal for someone looking for: a slow-paced environment only administrative work minimal responsibility strictly behind-the-scenes work ResponsibilitiesShop Operations & Customer Service Prepare drinks and maintain drink quality standards Work as a bobarista during shifts and peak service times Occasionally operate as the sole bobarista depending on staffing Deliver strong customer service and maintain a positive shop atmosphere Support opening and closing responsibilities Operations & Organization Help maintain organization throughout the shop and back-of-house areas Organize storage systems, supplies, and operational materials Assist with inventory tracking, counts, prep lists, and restocking Identify operational inefficiencies and help improve systems Administrative & Team Support Assist the General Manager with operational coordination Create and organize training documents, SOPs, checklists, and team materials Help maintain accountability and communication within the team Support scheduling coordination and operational follow-through Assist with catering/event organization and preparation Event & Catering Support Help prepare catering supplies and event materials Assist with loading/unloading equipment when needed Occasionally support on-site events, pop-ups, and catering activations Requirements Strong customer service skills Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure Comfortable working both independently and with a team Ability to lift 40-50 lbs occasionally Reliable transportation preferred Weekend and evening availability required at times Comfortable working in a fast-paced food & beverage environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in specialty coffee, boba, hospitality, retail, or food service Experience with operations, inventory, or team coordination Experience creating organizational systems or training materials Leadership or shift lead experience preferred Schedule Part-time with potential for growth into a larger operational leadership role.Schedule may include:
