Physician Outreach and Connect Job Summary:
Clinical Program Manager is a role that supports the Adult Physician Outreach department, Adult Service Lines at VUMC, and the external referring community. With guidance, this role helps promote and provide CME (Continue Medical Education) and engagement activities to the external referring provider community. Providing day‑to‑day administrative operations including budgeting and Workday tasks. Responsibilities include fiscal accountability; maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory standards; supporting a high level of care and service; optimizing workflows to ensure patient care; monitoring, analyzing, reporting and improving department performance; and helping to ensure integration with the broader clinical enterprise strategy. .
Department Summary:
The Physician Outreach and Connections Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Promotes Vanderbilt's services to clinicians in referral areas Shares information on new products and services Engages with community clinicians to learn their needs and strengthen relationships Collaborates with VUMC leadership on strategic outreach plans to increase referrals and surgical growth Our team focuses on customer service, relationship building, service recovery, intelligence gathering, assisting in finding solutions and representing VUMC to other medical communities. Position Highlights Mostly remote Monday
  • Friday Day Shift.
Responsibilities include assisting in coordinating CMEs/Conferences/Events, developing compliance and competency for the outreach department's CME program, creating newsletters/invites, and administrative responsibilities such as managing calendars, budgeting, ordering supplies and scheduling meetings. The following experience is highly preferred: Workday procurement experience, compliance/regulatory experience with CME/events, promoting and managing education/training experience, experience with
Microsoft Products:
Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with REDCap, Emma, Epic EMR Ambulatory/Cadence Attention to detail, the ability to collaborate with others and also work independently, and creativity are critical to be successful in this position.
