Role Description The Assistant Store Leader of Talent is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, focused on supporting all aspects of team member recruitment, development, and engagement within the store. This role assists in identifying, interviewing, and onboarding new team members to ensure the store is staffed with individuals who reflect the brand's values and commitment to service. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring associates, supporting performance evaluations, and helping to create schedules that align with business needs and team availability. The Assistant Store Leader of Talent partners with store leadership to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture, drives adherence to company policies, and supports training programs that elevate guest experience and operational excellence. This role also participates in community outreach and giving initiatives that connect the store team with local nonprofit partners. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to recruit, interview, and onboard retail team members, with a focus on building diverse and inclusive teams. Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff, including providing constructive feedback and supporting performance growth. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and motivate team members at all levels. Background in retail operations or customer-facing environments, with an understanding of scheduling, staffing, and store service standards.
