Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and staff scheduling Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Manage employee orientation, training & development to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a skilled and motivated team Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations with accuracy and integrity Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation Supervise shift management activities including cashiering, customer service issues, and operational tasks to ensure smooth store functioning Skills Strong management experience within retail environments with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication techniques Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for retail math calculations such as pricing and budgeting Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff Knowledge of retail industry sales strategies including merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities Skilled in supervising inventory control processes such as stocking, purchasing decisions, and inventory audits Capable of managing cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with store policies Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork while maintaining high standards of customer service excellence Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership fuels our retail success!
