Manager, Advanced Practice Providers - Department of Internal Medicine

Minimum Qualifications:
- + Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program / Advanced practice Registered Nurse (APRN) program with a national certification or degree in a similar field preferred.
JOB SUMMARY
- The Manager, Advanced Practice Providers is a matrix position with responsibilities as a clinical practice manager and an advanced practice provider. Primary responsibilities include the operational oversight of a multidisciplinary practice and direct patient care under the direction of a physician.
Job Duties:
- Clinical Practice Manager
- + Operational and clinical oversight of a multidisciplinary clinical practice with varying specialties and sub-specialties with responsibilities including but not limited to: + Personnel Management + Financial Management & Budget Oversight + Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff and managers, practice and division leaders, and other stakeholders to implement best practices, address operational, clinical, and/or administrative concerns to ensure efficient operations of the practice.
- Advanced Practice Provider
- + Performs routine examinations and preventive healthcare for patients seen in the clinic.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- + Ability to manage the daily operations of an outpatient practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + MBA, MHA, or related area. + Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a specialty or sub- + specialty in desired field.
Salary Range:
- Commensurate with experience.
