Role Overview:
This position involves managing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. The manager recruits, hires, and evaluates employees, ensuring proper training, performance, and compliance with labor laws. They oversee daily store opening and closing, monitor sales and expenses, and maintain inventory accuracy. Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment is essential, along with effective communication and leadership to foster team collaboration. The role also requires adherence to company policies, security procedures, and accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising is necessary. Experience with retail operations, recruiting, and legal compliance is preferred. Bilingual skills may be advantageous. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with management experience in retail being a plus.
Key Duties Include:
Staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and retention. Managing store opening, closing, and daily operations. Monitoring sales, profitability, and inventory levels. Ensuring merchandise presentation, inventory accuracy, and safety standards. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive shopping environment. Adhering to company policies, security, and cash control procedures.
Physical & Working Conditions:
The role involves frequent walking, standing, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing. It requires handling merchandise and equipment, driving for store-related tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions is possible.
