A Retail Store Manager manages a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

STORE MANAGER
Displays and exemplifies management confidentiality, credibility and a calm, controlled, mature and cooperative attitude with strict adherence to all company policies and procedures. The Store Manager is expected to set an example for all other employees, and earn the respect of the staff. The Store Manager is accountable for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of high morale among all staff, by having daily communication and involvement with each employee. The Store Manager is ultimately accountable for each employee's success, or failure. Low employee turnover due to harmonious, rewarding working environment is a key factor in obtaining Best Cleaners corporate goals. The Store Manager is encouraged to make recommendations to the Regional Manager to ensure that company policies are carried out effectively and efficiently as possible.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the entire day-to-day operations of the and home delivery. Grow sales and control all labor and direct costs Hire, train and maintain 3 key coordinators for production, route and nightly duties. Manage all duties of the Route Co., Production Co. and PM Co. and assist in all aspects of hiring, training and corrective actions with employees. Hold morning huddles with employees to promote a positive team atmosphere Inspect dry cleaning, tailoring and shirts daily to assure that quality standards are maintained. Have a heavy presence at the counter interacting and promoting a high level of customer service Accountable for the customer's experience regarding housekeeping, employee appearance and dress code, counter display, service technique, quality of service and van appearance. Resolve customer complaints; locate any missing items; settle all claims quickly to the customer's satisfaction. Oversee and control cash management and coach coordinators on current performance report numbers to produce increases. Review time sheet daily for accuracy Work with office regarding paperwork requirements: Prepare and submit accurate and timely paperwork. Call in accidents immediately to the office, including both store and route. Monitor cell phone during all hours of operation Attend Manager meetings Enforce all standards and guidelines such as dress code, radio rules, etc Any additional tasks assigned by the Regional Manager or Staff Members
MAINTENANCE
Attempt to repair broken equipment immediately. Report malfunctioning machinery that you are unable to repair. Report any non-emergency maintenance repairs in the work order database
