Job Description

Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to meet their needs Manage employees, by helping them organize departements and keeping them on task. Training new employees on customer service and product care. Partcipate in company meetings to help better improve the buisness. Open the store for operation and close the store at night. Count tils and ensure the store is ready for closing Promote and sell retail products and financial services, including retail lending options Perform data entry tasks related to sales, and customer accounts Handle retail math calculations confidently for sales totals, discounts, and financial transactions Maintain departments by scanning "out" items and replacing canceled product. Assisting in keeping the inventory accurate. Qualifications Previous retail sales or retail store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for engaging with customers is essential Management experience in hardware retail (especially Ace Hardware). Able to handle confrontational customers and employees. Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial software use. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of cash management, cashiering procedures, and retail math principles is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career journey where your energy fuels success! $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
