Full-Time & Part-Time Pay:
$16-$18 / hour, based on experience Closed every Sunday Lead the shift. Own the results. Anyone can watch a shift happen. We're looking for someone who runs it. As a Shift Leader, you set the tone the moment you clock in. You decide where people go, you catch problems before guests ever feel them, and you leave the restaurant better than you found it. You'll lead a team of 15 to 30 people during your shift, and you'll have real authority to make real decisions. If something is off during your shift, you own fixing it or escalating it. That's the job, and it's why it matters. What You'll Own The Guests Fast, accurate, genuinely warm service is the standard. You lead a huddle before every rush so the team knows exactly what winning looks like. You take the pulse of the shift, you check in with guests directly, and you make sure nobody walks out feeling like a transaction. The Team You put aces in their places. You coach in the moment, both encouragement and correction, and you do it with respect. You'll help team members grow into new positions and you'll be part of why they stay. The Standards Food safety, cleanliness, and quality are non-negotiable, and you protect them without being asked. Stations are set before the rush, checklists get done right, and standards are corrected on the spot instead of tomorrow. The Business You manage labor, control waste, and make calls that balance speed, quality, and stewardship. You'll see the numbers from your shift and learn to move them. What \Owning It\ Looks Like Here You lead the huddle, not just attend it Bottlenecks get relieved in seconds, not minutes, because you jump in You adjust based on what the business is telling you, not on how the day feels You're a boss first and a friend second, and the team respects you more for it You bring \2-second improvements\ instead of complaints You send a real shift note at the end of every shift: the wins, the misses, and what the next leader needs to know Who Thrives in This Role People who like being counted on. People who'd rather be busy than bored. People who can stay calm and clear when the drive-thru is stacked and two team members just called out. You don't need a restaurant résumé to be great at this, but you do need to be coachable, dependable, and genuinely interested in leading people. What You Bring Required 18 or older Available for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs A track record of showing up on time and following through Nice to Have Previous experience leading a shift, a crew, or a team in any industry Restaurant, retail, or hospitality background ServSafe or food handler certification (we'll help you get it if you don't have it) What You Get Competitive pay with clear raises tied to growth, not just time served Sundays off. Always. No exceptions, no negotiating Flexible scheduling that works around school, family, and life Scholarships up to $25,000 through Chick-fil-A's Remarkable Futures program, plus tuition discounts at 100+ colleges Free meals on every shift Health insurance and 401(k) A real leadership pathway. Many of our Directors started exactly where you'd be starting. We promote from within, and we invest in people who want to keep growing
