An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Job DescriptionDuties include but not limited to: Answering phones, making pizzas, helping customers, cleaning the store, washing dishes, doing inventory and bank deposits, directing other employees in their job duties.

Hours are days, nights, and weekends with flexible schedules.
