Sales Manager (Insurance)

Duties Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets within the insurance sector. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including outside sales efforts and telemarketing campaigns, to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability. Manage sales administration tasks such as client documentation, benefits administration, and customer service records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract diverse client segments. Provide bilingual or multilingual support when engaging with diverse customer bases to improve communication and service quality. Experience Proven success in outside sales within the insurance industry or related retail sales environments. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. Experience in sales administration, analysis skills for market research, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to insurance data privacy. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse client base effectively. Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies that increase customer engagement and retention. Prior experience in P&C insurance and customer service roles is advantageous for understanding client needs comprehensively.
