Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to help lead our elevated thrift store. This role supports the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations, team leadership, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, sustainability, and creating a welcoming environment for shoppers and donors alike. Key Responsibilities Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and staff supervision. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive team culture. Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays to maintain a fresh and appealing store layout. Help coordinate donation intake, sorting, pricing, and product rotation. Train and mentor team members and volunteers. Open and close the store as needed, ensuring all procedures are followed. Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving store goals. Step into the Store Manager role and other duties when needed and to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of retail or customer service experience; leadership experience preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A passion for sustainability, fashion, and community engagement. Comfortable using POS systems and basic reporting tools. Ability to lift 50-75lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
