Job DescriptionLead and coordinate daily activities of the production line to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Assist machine operators and production staff when necessary to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
Train new and existing operators on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the production team.
Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, productivity, on-time completion, and labor metrics.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
Collaborate with quality, maintenance, to ensure products meet specifications and manufacturing standards.
Assist leadership with operational planning, capacity planning, and achieving production objectives.
Maintain equipment knowledge and troubleshoot basic machine issues when needed.
Ensure new employees are properly trained and equipped with the resources necessary to succeed.
Participate in training and certification opportunities to support continued manufacturing development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Experience with production metrics, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
