Summary We are seeking a dedicated Rental Shop Manager to join our team at AJ's Ski & Sports in Stowe, Vermont. In this role, you will lead our ski and snowboard rental operations, ensuring that customers receive outstanding service while maintaining our fleet or ski and snowboard rental equipment and rental staff effectively. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation as the leading ski and snowboard shop in this area. Responsibilities Oversee daily rental shop operations to ensure a high standard of customer service. Manage rental inventory and rental reservations. Train and develop rental staff to ensure that they are qualified and have the appropriate certifications to adjust ski and snowboard bindings. Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain and clean and tidy rental area to meet our standards and attract customers. Qualifications • Proven experience in retail management or ski and snowboard rentals. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for outdoor sports. Proficient in inventory management systems and rental software. Ability to train staff effectively on rental options and equipment setup techniques. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
