Job Description

Key responsibilities: Customer interaction: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and gather details about the issue.
Diagnosis and assessment:
Analyze vehicle symptoms and determine required repairs based on their knowledge of automotive systems.
Estimate creation:
Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs, including parts and labor, explaining the breakdown clearly to customers.
Service scheduling:
Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Communication:
Keep customers informed about repair progress, any changes in estimated costs, and expected completion times.
Repair order management:
Create and manage repair orders, ensuring all necessary information is documented accurately.
Upselling and recommendations:
Suggest additional services or maintenance based on vehicle inspection and customer needs.
Customer concerns resolution:
Address customer complaints, concerns, and questions promptly and professionally.
Knowledge maintenance:
Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, diagnostic tools, and repair procedures. Required skills for an automotive Excellent communication skills: Clearly explain technical information to customers in an understandable way.
Customer service focus:
Prioritize customer satisfaction and build rapport with clients.
Technical knowledge:
Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
Problem-solving abilities:
Analyze vehicle issues and identify appropriate solutions.
Salesmanship:
Effectively present service options and upsell additional products when appropriate.
Organizational skills:
Manage multiple repair orders and customer schedules efficiently.
Requirements:
3 years Automotive Service Advisor Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Extremely well organized and detail oriented Motivated, driven, self-starter
Compensation:
$ 60,000 Yearly Equity in the business as an employee owner Paid Vacation Time Individual Medical Insurance Fully Covered (Depending on Plan Chosen) Automotive Experts & Tire Center of Maple Valley is now employee owned! We are a full-service preventive maintenance and auto repair center in the Maple Valley area, specializing in 4x4 Services, AC Repair, Alignment, Brakes, Car & Truck Care, Domestic Cars & Trucks, Electrical Services, Electronic Services, Engine & Transmission, and Engine Maintenance since 2009. Our experts have the knowledge to service and repair even the most challenging auto problems on all makes and models of domestic and import vehicles.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 / hour
