Commissary Onsite Project Manager

Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay:
$22.00- $25.36 per hour, potential to move to salary Prevailing Health & Welfare benefit pays for health insurance after 60 days of employment. Optional dental & vision

Ability to evaluate work performance in accordance with provided standards of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include Training, motivating, developing, and directing people as they work. Setting performance pace for the crew and serving as a role model for production. Prioritizing work tasks in the moment to achieve the best outcome possible. Pursuing a high standard of work efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintain payroll, scheduling, and leave request. Communicating with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies.Custodial & Maintenance Duties:
Perform routine and deep cleaning (floors, walls, glass, high dusting, breakrooms, restrooms, outdoor areas) and operate cardboard balers.Equipment & Tools Operation:
Properly use, inspect, and maintain specialty equipment, including buffers, ride-on scrubbers, carpet extractors, steam cleaners, vacuums, and ladders Supervisory Duties Team Oversight & Leadership:
Oversee Whidbey Commissary contract operations, directly manage Leads, set performance standards, and direct daily workflow.Staff Management & Scheduling:
Plan work schedules, manage leave requests, delegate tasks, approve timecards, and run payroll data.Performance & HR:
Conduct initial/annual evaluations, monitor performance, handle disciplinary/personnel issues, and recommend promotions or terminations.Training & Development:
Design and lead onboarding, safety protocols, equipment usage, and individual training programs in partnership with HR.Operations:
Establish operational standards, oversee departmental spending, manage equipment/facility allocations, and generate activity and expense reports.Quality Assurance & Safety:
Inspect facilities, resolve service/equipment complaints, report QA issues, and strictly adhere to government security (PWS) and company safety policies.Supply & Inventory Management:
Maintain stock, issue supplies, perform inventory checks, and secure keys, vehicles, phones, and government property. Required skills and abilitiesCommunication & Interpersonal:
Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills to build effective relationships across all levels, resolve conflicts, and deliver quality customer service.Leadership & Management:
Strong supervisory capabilities with a track record in strategic planning, resource allocation, task delegation, team building, and staff training/instruction.Problem-Solving & Analysis:
Adept at analyzing complex data, evaluating options, and implementing forward-looking solutions.Organization & Execution:
Highly organized, dependable, and punctual with strong time-management skills to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.Operations & Security:
Knowledgeable in security policies/procedures, operational safety, and business management standards.Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of quickly mastering organizational software Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to do repetitive movements, standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting, climbing stairs, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to handle and move objects by lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50lbs. Ability to hand periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to sit and work at a computer as needed.
