Job Description

Sales Manager - Fine Jewelry Are you a passionate, people‑focused jewelry sales leader? Our team is seeking a creative, motivated Sales Manager to guide a group of equally passionate jewelry professionals. The ideal candidate appreciates strong systems, embraces the power of clienteling, is results‑driven, and finds joy in coaching a team to reach their fullest potential. This role oversees the full scope of sales management, ensuring the store runs smoothly, joyfully, and effectively. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, motivate and mentor the team, develop business strategies, and drive both sales and profitability. Confidence interacting with clients who expect a luxury‑level experience is essential. Responsibilities Develop business strategies to grow the client base, increase store traffic, and optimize profitability Meet and exceed sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through elevated service standards Respond to customer concerns and service issues with professionalism and care Oversee store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Advocate for clients and sales staff by ensuring needs are met and ideas are encouraged Develop and arrange promotional materials and in‑store displays Propose innovative ideas to increase market share and enhance brand presence Conduct performance appraisals to identify training needs and support career development Address staff or customer issues, including complaints and grievances Serve as a shining example of professionalism, integrity, and high performance Protect merchandise by implementing and maintaining security systems and procedures Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and industry involvement Perform additional store management duties as needed Requirements Proven successful experience as a retail sales manager Demonstrates the ability to elevate, refine, and further develop an already high‑performing sales team or Proven success leading high‑performing sales teams with the ability to coach top performers to even higher levels of achievement Strong leadership skills and business acumen Comfortable with jewelry services such as repairs and custom orders Service‑oriented with a solid understanding of basic business management processes Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills and a polished, luxury‑minded presence
