Role Description The Third Key at Kay Jewelers is a full-time, on-site role located in Spokane Valley, WA, responsible for supporting daily store operations and delivering excellent customer service. This role assists in opening and closing the store, securing merchandise, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The Third Key helps customers select jewelry, processes sales, handles returns and exchanges, and maintains accurate point-of-sale transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include merchandising displays, keeping the sales floor clean and organized, monitoring inventory, and supporting promotional activities. The Third Key also collaborates with the store leadership team to meet sales goals, support team members, and uphold a positive, inclusive work environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers, build rapport, and communicate clearly. Candidates should possess retail sales and cash-handling skills, including experience with POS systems, upselling, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail for merchandising, inventory, and store presentation. Candidates should possess basic leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to support store opening/closing procedures and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Candidates should possess reliability and integrity, including adherence to security protocols and company policies in a keyholder capacity. Previous retail or jewelry sales experience is beneficial but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; willingness to complete company training programs is expected. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
