What they do
An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Drives store sales Provide excellent customer service Assist in managing total store operations Assure front end is providing customers with quick friendly service Build and fill displays Assist in keeping backroom neat and up to best practice standards Assist in handling all associate & customer issues Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed by all Associates.
