May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Salary or Hourly Range $60,000-90,000 (Based on Experience) Position Summary The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the service department while providing exceptional customer service. This is a working leadership position that combines managing shop operations with actively assisting customers by writing repair orders, selling maintenance and repair services, and ensuring vehicles move efficiently through the service process. Working alongside the Store Manager, this position is responsible for developing the service team, improving department performance, and delivering on Fillback's commitment of "Where the Customer Comes First Since 1948." Primary Responsibilities Write service repair orders and assist customers throughout the day. Lead the daily operation of the service department. Monitor shop workflow and technician productivity. Coach and support service advisors and technicians. Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. Review open repair orders and follow up on delayed work. Monitor labor sales, gross profit, CSI, and department performance. Ensure warranty, safety, and dealership policies are followed. Work closely with Parts, Sales, and the Store Manager to achieve dealership goals. Help hire, train, and develop service team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Previous automotive service advisor or service management experience preferred. Strong leadership and customer service skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Working knowledge of dealership service operations and DMS systems. Valid driver's license. Success Looks Like Exceptional customer satisfaction. Efficient shop operations.
