Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to oversee daily shop related tasks, ideal candidate will supervise up to 12 employees The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding for Commercial construction. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory control, Duties Lead and supervise shop employees, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance Oversee daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures. Manage inventory levels through effective inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising strategies QA/QC Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing needs and inventory replenishment Skills Strong leadership with proven supervisory experience in shop environments Excellent communication skills; bilingual a plus. Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and marketing strategies Skilled in employee recruitment, interviewing, and team management techniques Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis Ability to manage budgets, and inventory control effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Capable of training new employees on shop policies, product knowledge, and safety protocols Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
