Job Title:
Store Manager Job Summary:
The Store Manager is accountable for the total operation of the store. Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, supervision, buying and merchandising products, scheduling, controlling inventory, complying with relevant regulations and standards.Expectations:
- Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution.
- Model and provide our customers with outstanding customer service.
- Train and lead an outstanding team in a manner consistent with Consumer Cooperative's vision and standards.
- Implement and support all company programs.
- Establish a positive work environment and maintain high team morale.
- Develop team members to become our future Team Leaders through leading by example, excellent communication and delivering a clear and concise message.
- Drive team productivity and achieve required labor and margin targets.
- Maintain a well-stocked and beautifully merchandised store.
- Uphold and maintain department and store standards.
- Be an active and positive participant in store leadership.
- Uphold all Loss Prevention and Safety practices and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to multi-task, excellent follow-thru and ability to see the big picture.
- High energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Strong knowledge of department financials and labor.
- Excellent customer service skills and high standards of excellence.
- Strong ability to merchandise store.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and motivational skills.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal skills.
- Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the store.
