JOB PROFILE MECHANICAL PLANNER
Working location: Neenah, WI, USA General Description Reporting to the Neenah Plant Manager Mechanical Services Manager, this position is responsible for mechanical inspection reporting to customers, management of materials for all work, planning of work in the mechanical services department, and the scheduling of outsourced repairs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Maintain and order all parts and supplies for individual jobs on an as needed basis Maintain and order inventory for stock items in the mechanical shop Work with the Quality manager to ensure inspection reports are complete and accurate Responsible for all quoting of jobs to customers and sales engineers Provide updates and reports to the Mechanical/Quality manager regarding problems and issues Complete outgoing reports for plain/press roll and suction rolls Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
5-8 years in a manufacturing environment, preferable in the paper industry
Languages:
English Must have proven supervisory and leadership abilities Must be an excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Familiarity with mechanical and machine repairs is desired Requires knowledge of computers with skills in Excel and Word Proficiency in Solidworks to create detailed drawings is a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
