The Store Manager position is full-time, 50 hours a week. Weekly hours and compensation are negotiable. Interviews will be held at our Home Office located at 5816 W. Hemlock St., Milwaukee, WI 53223 . As a Store Manager, you join a diverse team of people on solid career paths in an exciting retail organization. This is true whether you are just starting out, returning to the workforce, or changing careers. You'll receive outstanding training to ensure that customers' expectations are exceeded each time they shop. We offer a competitive salary, bonuses, and 401k. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of retail sales workers in an establishment or department. Duties may include management functions, such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, in addition to supervisory duties.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Promoting excellent service with an attitude of running the store as if it were your own business Recruiting, hiring, terminating and training employees, as well as developing the store staff Ensures that all customers receive fast and friendly service in a clean facility every time they visit the store Delegate tasks to subordinates Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level Keep records of purchases, sales and paperwork Perform work activities of subordinates, such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records Complete daily paperwork
