Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management. Manage inventory control, purchasing, stocking, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize product availability and presentation. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing workforce. Monitor employee performance through coaching, feedback, and conducting performance reviews. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage budgets to ensure financial accuracy. Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers while ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards. Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and managerial communication. Experience with inventory management systems (POS systems), purchasing, and cash handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales math, inventory counts, and budgeting. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases. Demonstrated leadership in training & development initiatives with a focus on employee orientation and team building. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
