Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coffee Shop and Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our coffee shop. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience, overseeing a team of baristas, and maintaining high standards for both our products and service. You will also manage inventory, monitor quality control, and cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities Operations Management:

Oversee daily café operations, providing exceptional service. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.

Customer Experience:

Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and address customer inquiries promptly. Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Financial Management:

Monitor sales and manage budget, including labor costs and inventory.

Marketing and Community Engagement:

Collaborate on marketing initiatives to promote the café and its offerings. Foster relationships with local vendors and the community to enhance the café's presence.

Inventory and Supply Management:

Manage inventory levels and order supplies to ensure optimal stock. Work with suppliers to negotiate prices and maintain quality. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Monitor the food production processes to ensure quality control and consistency in all offerings. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations. Experience with budgeting and financial management within a restaurant setting. Passion for the coffee shop culture that fosters community and service. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must be available to work most Saturdays. and 40-50 hours a week.
