Our customers are restoring Victorian mansions, preserving Craftsman bungalows, and finishing Mid-Century Modern additions across the country, and they care about getting it right. So do we. We're a small, flexible team that makes things with our hands and stands behind what we make. When a customer calls us, a real person answers. The Role We're looking for an Admin & Sales Support team member to primarily keep things moving behind the scenes, and to be the first voice our customers hear when they call or visit our showroom. This is a full-time, on-site position and the work is predominantly administrative. Day to day that means order entry, invoicing, data entry, and supporting the sales staff with what they need to do their jobs. You'll also be first to the phones. That means fielding customer calls, routing them appropriately, and handling basic support queries. You'll need to get things done without waiting to be told what to do next. This role supports other people's work, which means you'll frequently need information, approvals, or input from colleagues to move forward. When that's the case, we need you to ask for it clearly and promptly, and to flag when something is stuck rather than letting it sit. The person in this role is a driver, not a passenger. This role can bounce between invoicing shipped orders, guiding a customer on the phone through our website, entering a newly placed order into the production queue, updating prices on the website, tracking down a promo code that went to someone's inbox five months ago and then picking up where you left off with the invoicing process. All before lunch. Who Thrives Here You're organized and accurate. You stay on top of details without being reminded. You're comfortable on the phone and in person with customers you've never met. You take pride in getting things right the first time. You understand that the person walking into the showroom didn't announce themselves on your calendar, and you treat that as the point of the job rather than an interruption. You also know how to handle a day that doesn't go as planned. Interruptions are part of the rhythm here, not exceptions to it.
