Job Description

Position Summary NextMod is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Business Development Managers (BDMs) and help drive sales growth. This role is responsible for scheduling meetings, qualifying leads, conducting prospect research, maintaining CRM data, coordinating sales events, and supporting outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can manage multiple priorities while ensuring a seamless sales process. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Scheduling Coordinate calendars and schedule meetings, facility tours, networking events, lunch-and-learn presentations, and sales demonstrations. Manage meeting confirmations, reminders, reschedules, and calendar conflicts. Prepare meeting agendas, research briefs, and supporting materials for Business Development Managers. Track and manage RFI and bid submission deadlines, ensuring all milestones are met. Lead Qualification & Research Conduct lead qualification using established criteria such as budget, authority, need, timeline, and strategic fit. Research target accounts, decision-makers, industry trends, and buying signals. Build and maintain detailed prospect profiles within the CRM. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Manager. CRM & Data Management Maintain accurate customer and prospect records within CRM platforms. Update lead statuses, engagement history, qualification notes, and contact information. Perform routine data cleansing, duplicate management, and quality assurance checks. Generate reports and dashboards on lead activity, pipeline performance, and meeting metrics. Outreach & Marketing Coordination Assist in drafting sales emails, call scripts, and outreach campaigns. Support follow-up efforts after events, webinars, facility tours, and networking opportunities. Coordinate with Marketing to align campaigns, target lists, and lead handoff processes. Monitor outreach performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement. Event Coordination Organize and support company-sponsored events, networking functions, facility tours, and lunch-and-learn programs. Coordinate attendee communications, registrations, logistics, and post-event follow-up activities. Track event outcomes and ensure all leads are properly documented and assigned. Process Improvement & Compliance Follow company policies and data privacy requirements. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, scheduling efficiency, and lead conversion processes. Maintain organized documentation, templates, and sales support resources. HUBSPOT and Monday.com experience required.
