Role:
The Sales Assistant at Northern Jet is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to break into private aviation, luxury sales, and high-value relationship building. This is a base pay plus commission role designed for someone who wants to learn how private jet sales actually work by being directly involved in lead generation, prospecting, and supporting real deals across Jet Card, Fractional Jet Ownership, and Aircraft Management. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals and gain exposure to high-net-worth clients, strategic partnerships, and the full sales cycle within private aviation.

You will learn how to:
Identify and connect with qualified prospects Build relationships within luxury and business networks Support real sales conversations and transactions Understand how private aviation products are sold and structured How This Role Fits Into The Sales Team Business Development and focus on building relationships and generating opportunities Aviation Advisors focus on closing deals Sales Assistant focuses on creating and feeding the pipeline This role is the starting point of the entire sales engine. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation and Prospecting Research and build lists of qualified prospects including business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals Identify individuals who travel frequently between the Midwest and Florida Utilize LinkedIn, networking events, and outbound outreach to generate interest 2. Outreach and Relationship Building Initiate conversations through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and in-person networking Introduce Northern Jet in a professional way Build familiarity and trust with potential clients and partners 3. Pipeline Development Qualify prospects and pass strong opportunities to senior sales team members Track all activity in CRM Ensure all leads are followed up with and properly categorized 4. Event and Experience Support Assist with events such as golf outings, private hangar events, and luxury experiences Help identify and invite qualified prospects Engage with attendees and support relationship building efforts 5. Sales Support Exposure Sit in on discovery calls and sales meetings when appropriate Learn how proposals are structured and presented Gain understanding of Jet Cards, Fractional Ownership, and Aircraft Management Compensation Structure This is a position designed to reward performance and initiative.
