Job Description
Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Retail Wine Sales Assistant . Our company offers excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities. Summary Perform routine clerical and sales administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, completing orders, and providing information to callers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Runs various computer reports (i.e., Diver to track program execution) for suppliers and Empire Management and delivers as scheduled. Verifies and corrects pricing and deal logs, processes orders for all chain accounts, including Costco and Sam s Club, performs order entry for assigned accounts, and manages credit issuance as needed. Maintain Chain Contract support and assistance. Issues debit, credit memos, and price corrections. Sets up new accounts and updates existing accounts' commission, delivery information, and designated Sales Representative in SAP. Processes Will Call invoices. Assists with order entries as needed. Supports management with grocery/chain pricing management. Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None Computer Skills Ability to effectively use the following Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel (formulas), PowerPoint, Publisher, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
