Kanak Naturals is a manufacturer and supplier of eco-friendly, compostable, single-use dinnerware and sustainable foodservice packaging solutions. We are committed to reducing environmental impact by providing high-quality, plant-based alternatives to traditional disposable products. Our focus is on innovation, sustainability, and strong customer partnerships across foodservice, retail, and distribution channels. The Sales Assistant supports the Kanak Naturals sales team by managing administrative activities, maintaining customer and project information, and ensuring visibility across active customer programs and sales opportunities. This role helps keep the team organized, informed, and responsive while supporting communication across departments. Key Responsibilities Prepare customer presentations, proposals, and sales documentation. Coordinate meetings, calendars, and sample requests. Support customer follow-up and maintain customer records. Maintain and update active project and opportunity trackers. Consolidate status updates from internal teams. Ensure customer programs and opportunities are documented and current. Follow up on missing or incomplete information. Support communication between Sales and cross-functional teams. Prepare meeting summaries and status reports. Maintain CRM records and generate reports on opportunities, project status, and customer activity.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have the following skills and experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales support, administration, or coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365. Experience with CRM systems preferred. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Proactive and dependable. Strong follow-through and task management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
