Wine Sales Assistant / Off Premise Chain

Responsible for assisting sales reps for local supermarket distribution operations. Primary responsibilities include assisting writing orders for delivery of product, stocking shelves, rotating product, and building displays. This role works in a supermarket environment and reports to a sales supervisor.

Topsham/Lewiston/Freeport Requirements include:

Must be at lease 18 years of age Must be self-motivated and able to work independently Must have a valid driver's license (with a safe driving record) Must have access to a safe and dependable vehicle Must have minimum level of auto insurance Job requires frequent bending, lifting, stretching. Must be able to lift cases with an average weight of 35 pounds. Must be able to work 5 days per week (including one weekend day) Must live in reasonable proximity to area of service (Topsham/Lewiston/Freeport) This position will work primarily in a specific area of service and generally commutes directly to/from the first and last accounts. The position is required to drive between various stores in that area to provide sales and merchandising services. Central Distributors' facility is located in Lewiston, and is an easy commute from many Central and Southern Maine communities -- located just a few minutes from the Maine Turnpike.
