Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage purchases Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and process cash handling with precision Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products to maximize sales opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to planograms and store standards Manage stock levels, perform inventory counts, and assist with stock replenishment to ensure product availability Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or specialty stores Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations, product knowledge, and merchandising techniques preferred Ability to handle cash drawer handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations efficiently Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions at all times Join us in delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
