Sales Assistant Adams MultiMedia United States, Minnesota, Cambridge Sep 04, 2026 Part-time office assistant with one of southern Minnesotas leading multimedia companies! Adams Multimedia and the Caledonia Argus are seeking a fast-thinking and highly organized part-time office assistant to support our newsroom and business operations. Candidate will handle administrative duties, manage reader and subscriber inquiries, and assist editorial and advertising teams in a deadline-driven environment, along with other duties as assigned. Starting salary will be $16/hr.
Main Duties and Tasks include:
sroomSupport:
Direct tips, press releases, and breaking news calls to the correct editors or reporters.Subscriber Relations:
Answer phones to handle subscription renewals, delivery issues, and general reader feedback.Public Notices & Obituaries:
Format, log, and process incoming obituary notices and public legal announcements.Archiving & Research:
Maintain the newspaper's physical clipping library and digital story archive.Ad Coordination:
Help the sales team process advertising 7 insertion orders and sort billing paperwork. ~; ySkills Needed:
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette under tight time constraints.
- Strong digital skills, including database management and basic content platforms.
- High school diploma or equivalent (media or journalism coursework is a plus).
- Superior accuracy to prevent errors in published notices and billing.
