Event Sales Assistant Full-Time | In-Person About the Opportunity Our client is a fast-growing events and promotions company known for delivering high-impact, face-to-face customer acquisition campaigns. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to add an Event Sales Assistant to their team. This role is centred around working in high-footfall environments, engaging directly with customers, and representing well-known brands through professional, people-first interactions. About the Role As an Event Sales Assistant, you'll be part of a team delivering live promotional campaigns across retail locations, pop-up events, and busy public spaces. You'll play a key role in creating positive first impressions, building rapport quickly, and helping customers understand the value of the products or services being promoted. Key Responsibilities Engage with customers at event sites, retail locations, and promotional stands Represent brands with professionalism, energy, and confidence Communicate product and service offerings clearly and effectively Identify customer needs and tailor conversations to suit different individuals Guide customers through sign-ups, registrations, or purchase processes Handle questions and objections in a positive and solution-focused way Assist with event setup, presentation, and breakdown Maintain a well-presented and organised event space Contribute to individual and team-based performance targets Skills & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with new people daily Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments Self-motivated with a performance-driven mindset Experience Previous experience in retail, hospitality, events, or customer-facing roles is beneficial No prior sales experience required — full training is provided Experience working in fast-paced environments is an advantage What You'll Gain Practical, hands-on experience in event-based sales and promotions Ongoing training focused on communication, sales, and personal development A fast-paced, team-driven environment with strong support Clear progression opportunities based on performance and consistency The chance to build confidence and transferable career skills Working Environment This is an in-person role based across event spaces, retail environments, and promotional locations. Earnings & Incentives Paid Weekly Base earnings plus uncapped commission Performance-based bonuses and incentives Average weekly earnings: $900 - $1100 Next Steps Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
