Responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, including order entry, customer communications, and coordination of sales-related activities. Supports customer relationships and business development efforts while helping ensure a high level of customer service. Duties and Responsibilities Serve as an interface between the sales team and customers, ensuring accurate and timely communication to support and strengthen customer relationships. Enter purchase orders, sales orders, and other related information into SAP/WTS systems and maintain accuracy from order entry through completion. Answer customer and internal telephone inquiries promptly and professionally. Address customer concerns and issues effectively, providing timely resolution and follow-up when needed. Work closely with logistics and customer service teams to support efficient processes and workflow. Maintain ongoing customer relationships and communicate market information, customer feedback, and potential sales opportunities to the sales team. Support the sales team with sales-related activities and business development efforts. Promote supplier and company products whenever appropriate and identify opportunities to increase sales during customer interactions. Serve as the point person for customer onboarding activities, including external system access and related account setup requirements. Maintain ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities and customer accounts. Prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Follow established procedures while adapting to changing business needs and priorities. Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and cultural awareness. Build and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally. Demonstrate strong organizational skills while meeting established deadlines. Utilize sound problem-solving and decision-making skills to support customers and business objectives. Administer and support WTS, CenterPoint, ClearWin, SAP, and related business systems. Provide backup support for customer service functions and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of related sales support, customer service, administrative support, or business experience. Highly organized with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and follow up in a clear and timely manner. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering a positive customer experience. Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and with employees at all levels of the organization. Positive, energetic, and proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism. Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to meet changing business needs. Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Professional telephone presence and customer-facing communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
