The Strategic Sales Assistant is a highly visible support role that partners closely with the Vice President of Sales to help keep priorities organized, communication clear, and key initiatives moving forward. This position serves as a central point of coordination across the retail sales and consumer direct teams, providing day-to-day administrative, operational, and project support that helps leadership stay focused on execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and energized by managing follow-through, coordinating moving pieces, and helping the business run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Vice President of Sales and the broader sales leadership team by helping keep priorities organized, visible, and on track.
- Coordinate key initiatives across both the retail sales and consumer direct divisions to support alignment, communication, scheduling, accountability, and timely follow-through.
- Assist with high-priority sales projects by managing timelines, deliverables, action items, meeting preparation, and post-meeting follow-up.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support improvements across the sales technology stack, including tool adoption, process enhancements, and implementation coordination.
- Support recruiting efforts for new loan officers by coordinating outreach, interview scheduling, recruiting materials, pipeline tracking, and timely communication.
- Assist with onboarding for newly hired loan officers by coordinating communication, training logistics, materials, and cross-functional handoffs.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership updates that support visibility into production, recruiting activity, and strategic priorities.
- Track progress on key initiatives and support workflow improvements that reduce friction and strengthen execution across the sales organization.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, follow-up communication, and action tracking tied to sales priorities, recruiting initiatives, and operational projects.
- Work closely with partners across operations, marketing, IT, training, finance, and human resources to support execution of business priorities.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting across CRM systems, spreadsheets, and internal tools to support visibility, accountability, and informed decision-making.
- Bring organization, responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through to a wide range of sales, recruiting, and operational support activities. Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in executive support, sales support, operations, recruiting coordination, project coordination, mortgage banking, financial services, or a related business support role preferred.
- Experience supporting leadership priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, or assisting high-volume teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Comfort learning and supporting CRM platforms, reporting systems, sales enablement tools, and other business technology solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across multiple departments and leadership levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and provide professional support in a highly visible role. Core Skills
