Full-time Experienced Sales Professional:
This job position requires an experienced, high-achieving person with the desire to excel and grow sales in a team environment functioning as a key representative for all corporate products and services. This is a salaried position reporting directly to the President and requires on-site daily attendance at our western PA, Mercer County facility. Relevant education and experience with a background in technical sales and a preference of having experience in areas such as instrumentation, test equipment, radio equipment or electrical and electronic apparatus is desirable. Marketing experience is a plus. Success in this role can lead to promotion into sales management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gain competency and proficiency on all company product lines and services
- Working with and supporting other company sales and marketing personnel
- Asist with creating and review of company product presentation materials and related graphics
- Support the company's current network of resellers and distributors with regular periodic communications
- Research and prospect for new customers, resellers and distributors and potential OEM clients
- Conduct online training sessions with distributors, resellers and customers
- Respond to direct sales inquiries, including those originating from online, email, trade-show or telephone
- Qualify sales opportunities for internal response or hand-off to resellers or distributors
- Manage the sales process with regular follow-up plus use of CRM to update active sales opportunities
- Prepare sales proposals including customer quotes and supporting order processing
- Participate with in-house training, meetings, skill building, and professional development
- Assist other sales team members in developing appropriate responses to complex opportunities
- Outbound and inbound sales-related account review including customer financial health
- Coordinate and assist with customer service issues including product returns and repairs
- Generate periodic sales reports while providing a weekly summary of activities
- Attend industry trade shows as an exhibitor and as an observer to gather industry intelligence
- Perform special tasks as assigned by the company President and occasionally management staff
Required Skills and Capabilities:
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the sales process
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher, PPT)
- Ability to work with CRM software
- Capable of using technology-supported virtual meetings and presentations via Zoom, Teams or similar method
- Dynamic and honest with assertive, but refined presentation skills
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
- Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
- Periodic scheduled travel to various tradeshows and occasional customer sites

Education:
Bachelor degree is preferred in sales, marketing, technical or business-related field
