Landscape Sales Assistant

American Landscape is a well-established landscape design-build firm located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Currently, we have a great opportunity for a landscape design/sales assistant to aid our sales staff in selling our companys landscape design and installation, landscape maintenance, arborist/tree care and snow removal services. This is a dynamic position with new challenges and a wide variety of activities throughout the year. With regard to our design and construction services, the successful candidate will help our design staff in preparing site inventories, drawings, 3-dimensional models, cost estimates and proposals. At times, this person may be asked to visit construction sites to aid in design layout, plant placement, crew direction and other work relevant to overseeing successful installations. During the winter months, commercial snow removal is a large portion of what we do. At certain times of the year, the position will require help with our internal administrative work relative to snow removal. This may include measuring sites, keeping records of site requirements, preparing internal paperwork and proposals. When sales are completed, the person in this role will help prepare internal paperwork relative to the project for submittal to our production team. In addition to our sales process, this position may include duties related to our marketing efforts. We are constantly seeking new content for digital and print marketing including imagery and videos from our sites and in the landscape. In addition, this person will help seek new ways to gain industry recognition through award submittals, etc. American Landscape is a fast-paced environment offering competitive wages, a company health insurance package, paid holiday and vacation days, etc. Candidates who are self-starters with the ability to work with a variety of people both in and outside of the office, will gain practical experience and personal training from our team of seasoned professionals. Experience in the design-build, landscape maintenance and/or horticultural industry is required. In addition, previous exposure to the following computer software is preferred: Asset, AutoCad, SketchUp, U-Vision, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Excel, Word, Google Earth Pay $50,000 - $55,000 per year.
