Bonus Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to drive new business development and support the sale of custom automation solutions within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. This role combines technical sales, customer relationship management, and application engineering to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and support projects from concept through execution.
Job Duties:
Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers Identify and qualify automation projects based on technical fit, scope, and budget Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate automation solutions Prepare sales proposals, project budgets, and customer presentations Interpret User Requirement Specifications (URS) and develop sequences of operation Present technical solutions to customers and support the sales process Assist project teams after project award, including managing scope changes and customer communications Support financial discussions related to project changes and enhancements
Qualifications:
Experience selling automation equipment, custom machinery, or engineered systems Pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences industry experience preferred Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly automation processes Experience developing technical proposals, budgets, and presentations Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
