Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Industrial Sales Specialist to drive growth and expand our presence within industrial markets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with clients across various sectors, understand their technical needs, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their operations. Your expertise in technical sales, combined with your passion for building strong customer relationships, will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting industrial clients to meet or exceed sales targets. Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs. Engage in pre-sales activities by understanding customer requirements, providing technical advice, and proposing suitable products or services. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-up. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop customized solutions leveraging expertise in computer networking, AWS (Amazon Web Services), VMware, Linux, Azure, and Python. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies such as Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation purposes. Support project management efforts by coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation of solutions. Deliver engaging product demos that highlight features, benefits, and technical capabilities to prospective clients. Analyze customer feedback and market data to identify new opportunities for growth and product development. Qualifications Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales within the industrial sector or related fields. Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies (VMware), Linux operating systems, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash (Unix shell). Exceptional analysis skills with the ability to assess client needs and craft effective solutions. Excellent communication skills for delivering compelling product demos and engaging with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated project management capabilities ensuring seamless coordination from initial contact through project completion. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Technical background or certifications related to cloud computing, networking, or virtualization are highly desirable. $56,640.87 - $68,212.66 per year
