Job Description
Junior Sales Engineer, B2B Full-time | In-Person | Yonkers / Greater NYC Area About the Role We are seeking a driven and technically junior Sales Engineer to grow our B2B sales team across the HVAC and electrical building system market. In this role you serve as the primary technical resource for prospective and existing commercial clients, bridging the gap between complex electrical, mechanical, and HVAC solutions and customer business needs. This is a great entry point for an engineering graduate who wants to blend technical knowledge with client-facing work. What You'll Do
- Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial and industrial accounts including contractors and property managers
- Respond to technical questions about electrical and HVAC products throughout the sales process
- Work with the sales team to understand customers' pain points and match them to solutions
- Supervise daily store operations and sales activities
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing within company guidelines
- Collaborate with corporate and operations teams to process order fulfilment What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer, or related field)
- 0-2 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or technical role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Located in or near Yonkers / Westchester area
- Self-starter mentality with a genuine curiosity about how things work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus
