Outside Technical Sales Representative Location:
Cleveland, Columbus OH or Chicago, IL Job Summary:
The Outside Technical Sales Representative plays a vital role in representing the company and its partner brands, serving as a primary point of contact for customers in the appliance and technical components industries. Responsibilities include supporting existing programs, exploring new business opportunities, and offering technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to meet application requirements, facilitate product launches, and manage engineering changes. This position involves frequent travel (70%), including international trips, to nurture customer relationships and achieve business goals.
Education & Experience:
A technical bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering and business, is required. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, outside sales, or a customer-facing technical role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial components sector. Experience with engineered products or technical components is highly valued.
