Job Description
Pump Pros, a division of FCX Performance/an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company has a new position! As a Sales Intern, you will spend time learning about the different branches of FCX & the products they offer, with a focus on Pump Pros Inside Sales. After completing introduction level training courses on some of our products & processes, you will spend time learning hands-on about pumps with our mechanics. You will obtain a great understanding of our sales process by spending time shadowing current Inside Sales & Outside Sales team members. The final weeks of the internship will be spent working alongside the Inside Sales team to process and expedite customer orders! As a member of the team, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our internal team. You'll spend your time interacting with customers, determining their process flow control and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!
Responsibilities:
Successfully sell company products and services to customers by creating quotes for inquiries sent in by Outside Sales or directly from the customer. Oversee sales orders that you enter from time of order entry to order shipment. Be strategic, extremely organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory. Process and expedite orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner with efficiency in vendor follow up to ensure timely delivery. Sourcing and getting quotes from vendors, effectively handle correspondences from customers and fielding calls from customers as well as assisting the outside sales team.Position Requirements:
Written and verbal communication skills including English grammar. Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems. Excellent organization and multitasking skills. Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales! Mechanically inclined. Computer proficiency including MS office.
