Summary/Objective:
The FSE will develop innovative design-wins by coupling the customers technical needs/application with Samtecs product design and development capabilities. Service the customer by any and all means necessary.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
Territory Sales experience with technical design in cycle. Prior or existing experience calling on technology/micro-electronic and manufacturing customers at various levels. Strong established organizational systems and appointment setting practices that promote. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills for both internal and external customer base. Possess strong innate self-drive in an autonomous environment to exceed sales objectives within the territory. Passion for technology and B2B sales across a broad territory. Exceptional follow-up skills. The responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position. Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on strengths and capabilities
Required Experience:
5+ Years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry is required. Component sales experience in a technical industry is required. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills for both internal and external customer base. Exceptional follow up skills. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience Degree in Business would be sufficient but experience must line up specifically with technical components and customers.
Training required:
On the job training as appropriate.
